Introduction
Founded in 2013 at the initiative of the Morbihan Département Council, the Paysages de Mégalithes association brings together 28 municipalities in Morbihan :

The application for the megaliths in Carnac and on the shores of the Morbihan is being put forward by the Paysages de Mégalithes association, founded in 2013 by the local authorities (municipal, district, and Département councils), the relevant state authorities (the French National monuments centre (Centre des Monuments Nationaux), and France’s Coastal Protection Agency (Conservatoire du littoral) ), and other associations with an interest in heritage and tourism.
